2019 Danny Kyle open stage finalist Dowally bring something new and slightly different to this year's line up. They make unclassifiable, thrillingly energetic music, fusing their love of traditional Scottish tunes with jazz harmony, Balkan rhythms and deep Americana raucousness. Dan Abrahams’ driving guitar and Rachel Walker’s swinging fiddle are joined by the extraordinary Phil Alexander (Moishe’s Bagel) on accordion. Having garnered rave reviews all across the UK, from jazz festivals to pub sessions, they released their second album of original material in June 2018.
