Programme

2013 again offers a wide and varied range of performers, with some very exciting new bands and artists which we hope you will enjoy. In addition to the mainstage concerts we also hope you can find the time to sample some of the many other events organised over the weekend.

In a change to the last couple of years we will be re-instating the opening concert on the 11th July (Thursday, Town Hall) with Dougie MacLean. Dougie played the very first festival and is delighted to be able to come and help us celebrate our 25th Year.

For the Web site, the Programme is split into Three categories plus there is information about the workshops and other activities for young people.

Main Stage Events - The Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday night Concerts and the Tradition Bearers Concert.

Fringe Events - These are the things that make the Festival Fun! They include the Planned events and hosted Sessions over the weekend.

Workshops - These are usually hosted by Festival artists and range from Beginner to Advance level. This year this will also include the Big Sing sponsored by Enterprise Music Scotland,

Young People's Programme -  We will again have a programme of activities for young people, including pre-school children, during the festival.
